Sustainable peak performance in production
We work solvent-free and use modern technologies such as heat recovery systems and electric filters to maximise air quality and energy efficiency. Our energy mix from fossil and renewable sources is certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001:2011.
Environmental protection as a corporate philosophy
We use AZO and heavy metal-free colourants and comply with the Reach Regulation. Our wastewater treatment plants ensure compliance with strict environmental regulations and 90% of our waste is recycled. We are also involved in the European Outdoor Sustainability Working Group to develop recycling solutions for outdoor clothing.

Fire
Flame-retardant textiles are mandatory for public institutions, fire brigades, the military, aviation and the automotive industry. Our finishes make these quality fabrics easy-care, hard-wearing, dimensionally stable and quick-drying.
Water
Moisture management is particularly in demand for functional textiles, in hygiene and in the medical sector. Ploucquet has many years of experience in this field.
Earth
Technical solutions from Ploucquet regulate mechanical loads, secure loads, protect against insects and mites and provide camouflage. Bionic and nanocoatings will enable many new applications in the future.
Air
Above the clouds, freedom is only limitless if balloonists and skydivers can rely on the quality of the material they are suspended from. We make sure of that.
