New Ploucquet Textiles campaign F/W 2012/13 for specialist traders

The new specialty store campaign from the Ploucquet Textiles division is a further development of the “German Quality Inside” campaign launched last season. The projection of major images from Germany’s capital city Berlin transports the concept
figuratively. And these icons have also been integrated into the product design. A Berlin photo sequence is “the hook” for the unusual realization of a new waistband. “German Quality Inside” stands for quality, tradition, and innovation “Made in Germany,” and reflects the company’s key values.

German top model Lars Burmeister will again set the seasonal trends for lining/pocket lining and waistbands smart in scene.

Lead agency INKcorporated in Munich implemented the campaign, which will be launched in trade magazines starting in August 2011.

Ploucquet takes over the lining division of Christian Dierig GmbH.

Munich / Augsburg, June 2011.

Effective 1 June 2011, Ploucquet GmbH will be taking over the lining division of Christian Dierig GmbH, Augsburg.

Dierig, once the largest textile manufacturer on the entire European continent, has been supplying textile products since 1805. It was Ploucquet’s largest competitor in the production of lining materials on the German market.

Ploucquet itself has been an expert producer for textile solutions in the field of linings, trouser-shell fabrics and trouser waistbands as well as other technical applications since 1806.

As the market leader in Germany, the takeover of Dierig’s lining division will further strengthen Ploucquet’s position. Ploucquet’s extended client base will continue to be served with the same proven quality of its high-performance “Made in Germany” textile finishing.

In confronting the increasingly difficult challenge of obtaining raw materials from Asia, Ploucquet is Germany’s strongest partner and offers security in the supply chain.

The employees of Dierig’s lining division will be acquired by Ploucquet and will be transferred to the headquarter in Unterföhring/Munich.

The takeover will be completed in close and amicable collaboration between both companies.
